If you have not yet heard of “gazovering” or “gazedging”, you may soon do so. These unlovely words have evolved from the lack of properties for sale, which is the complaint of almost every estate agent. This situation favours sellers, who are fully exploiting the opportunity.
However, buyers are asserting themselves, according to buying agent Henry Sherwood of the Buying Agency. He has been observing behaviour in the housing market jungle, a location that brings out the killer instinct even in those usually incapable of even a spot of passive-aggressive manoeuvring.
